Traveling to Ambler, Shungnak or Kobuk is done via air travel with local airlines out of Kotzebue or Fairbanks.

When traveling from Fairbanks, we suggest using Ambler Air Service. Pilot Dave Rue has been flying for over 30 years. Other airlines to contact that may offer charter services are Frontier Flying Service, Warbelow’s Air Service, Wright’s Air Service, and Ken Air.
